Listen to learn about Albert and Marie Van Britten Brown, who co-created the first home security system; Samuel Scottron, an inventive barber turned social activist; Sarah Boone, an enslaved-born dressmaker who patented the modern ironing board; and George Washington Carver, a renowned agricultural scientist with a complex personal life.
